ALL THE STRAIGHT KIDS PEAKED IN HIGHSCHOOLAs Pride month comes to a close, we wanted to leave you with this beautiful film created by a group of LGBTQIA+ employees and directed by Jasmine Jackson.In their words …We spend so much time fighting for our rights, that we sometimes forget about the beautiful, the mundane, the significantly insignificant pieces of life in between.We celebrate the extremes of what it means to be queer because we want the freedom to exist in the full spectrum of ourselves, but in doing so we forget about the parts that are precious to us.The parts we revel in when we feel safe, supported, and loved.The parts that are born from the banality of living life free of fear.The parts that made high school hell.We’re opening the aperture to preserve these precious parts because we deserve mundanity and all the joy that comes with it.Take the final moments of this month to rest, be joyful, and love loudly and quietly.
